Located about two hours from central Tokyo, Nagatoro's most notable attraction is its "Iwadatami," a national natural monument!
It's a monolith formed by multiple layers of thin rocks,
stretching an astounding 500 meters!
Summer boat rides are also popular and offer a thrilling experience. ✨
Nagatoro is also home to a place where you can enjoy the summer tradition of "Nagashi Somen" (flowing noodles). 𓂃𓈒𓏸
"Choseikan" (Choseikan), a long-established inn located right next to the Iwadatami.
Every year from Golden Week through October,
you can enjoy all-you-can-eat Nagashi Somen. 🎐
Hours: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Reservations are required (reservations open at 11:00 AM seven days in advance)
45 minutes of all-you-can-eat!
Adults and junior high school students: ¥2,000 per person
Elementary school students and toddlers: ¥1,000 per person
*Free for children under 2 years old
Their warabimochi is delicious.
We also recommend "Gallery Cafe Yamashita"!
The atmosphere is warm and cozy. ◎
It's located on the approach to Hodosan Shrine!
Hours: 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM
"Nagatoro" is a great day trip spot. Be sure to check it out! 𓅯 ⸒⸒
