Japan's largest waterfall

Good evening everyone 🌙

My name is Shinya and I share about architecture and travel on Instagram.

Today, I'd like to introduce Nachi Falls, located in the southernmost part of Wakayama!

It was a very impressive and huge waterfall ✨
The following is a quote from Wikipedia ☺️

"Nachi Falls is a waterfall located in the middle reaches of the Nachi River in Nachikatsuura Town, Higashimuro District, Wakayama Prefecture. It falls along a nearly vertical cliff made of quartz porphyry, with a width of 13 meters at the base and a drop of 133 meters to the basin, and can be seen from the Kumano Nada Sea. It is the 12th largest waterfall in Japan in terms of overall drop, but the largest single-tiered waterfall in Japan. It is counted as one of the three most famous waterfalls in Japan along with Kegon Falls." (from Wikipedia)
