[Wakayama] Mossy Kumano Nachi Taisha Shrine

Kumano Nachi Taisha Shrine in the Kumano Kodo area. The grounds are in the mountains, so you have to walk quite a bit to worship there. The moss-covered stone steps strongly retain the atmosphere of the Kumano Kodo, and the journey was enjoyable.
I took a bus from Kii-Katsuura Station to Mount Nachi and walked from there, but it seems that routes that don't involve using the bus and allow you to enjoy trekking are also popular.
There are many giant trees, and in particular the Okusu tree, which you can walk through, is about 850 years old and has a dignified and mysterious feel to it.
