Oceanfront Bliss: Why Fiji Marriott Momi Bay Beats the Intercontinental

Just got back from Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay, and it was such a relaxing escape! We stayed in one of the Ocean View Beach Villas—absolutely worth it. The villa had direct beach access, a private outdoor lounge area, and incredible views, especially during sunset.

In terms of service, comfort, and overall vibes, I’d say it beats the Intercontinental. While the water at Momi Bay isn’t quite as stunning or clear as Natadola Beach, the hotel itself is beautifully maintained with a more modern, spacious, and luxurious feel.

The lagoon is calm and peaceful, perfect for a quiet getaway. The breakfast spread was great too, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful.

If you’re after a well-rounded resort experience—especially with more privacy and premium accommodation—the Marriott Momi Bay is a solid pick. Definitely planning to return for a longer stay next time.
