[Nagano] Irresistible retro feel! Exciting and stylish antique shops

R-DEPOT is located in Nishigo-machi, Nagano City! The building that used to house NTT was renovated in 2022, and it is a central spot in the city. Events such as markets and social gatherings are held here, and it also serves as the studio for NHK Nagano Broadcasting! R-DEPOT ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈The first floor is an antiques and cafe shop, while the second and third floors are a shared office, co-working space, event space, and more. It's a complex that houses a variety of facilities💡
┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈The antiques shop on the first floor sells a variety of items, so even just browsing is a lot of fun! There was a wide variety of antiques, from large items like shelves and desks to small items like plates and dried flowers 🫶 What particularly caught my eye was the sign that read "Nippon Denden Koso Nagano Telegraph Office" and the typewriter 👀 Apparently these were not for sale but were on display, but it was moving to see things that were actually used in the past ☺️ Even after renovation, it's nice to see a place that still holds memories of the past 😌💓
┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ There was also a cafe on the first floor ☕️ I ordered cheesecake and a latte! This cheesecake was sweet, moist and delicious so I highly recommend it ❤️

It feels like a community, and once you get used to it, it's a fun atmosphere🫶The shop staff are friendly, and it was a comfortable space even for the first time🙌I recommend taking a little walk after visiting Zenkoji Temple to look for souvenirs and take a break🛍
