Togakushi Shrine

I came to Togakushi Shrine in Nagano.

The most famous thing about Togakushi Shrine is the 500-meter road from Zuishinmon Gate to Okusha no Mori, lined with more than 200 giant cedar trees.
When I first saw this scenery, I was so moved that I was at a loss for words.
After doing some research, I found out that the entire Okusha no Mori area has been protected from human development and destruction since cutting down bamboo and trees within the grounds was strictly prohibited for about 400 years.
It's amazing.
There's no other way to experience the beauty of this place than to experience it for yourself.
I hope everyone will go there at least once.
