[Nagano Prefecture] The only shrine in Nagano City with a thatched roof

It is said that in 858, when the first Daihongan priest went down to Shinano, he enshrined a branch of the Kamo Mioya Shrine (Shimogamo Shrine) that he worshiped on a daily basis.

The enshrined deity is
Tamayorihime no Mikoto

It has the only thatched roof in Nagano City, and two giant trees stand in front of it, overwhelming you.
