Constructed as a base for the Takeda clan during the Battle of Kawanakajima,

Sengoku warlord Sanada Nobuyuki became the first feudal lord.

A projection mapping display was held on the 400-year-old stone walls of Matsushiro Castle.

There is also a castle seal here, which you can get at the Sanada Museum.
