Tianjing Lake Park is located northwest of Tongling City, just over one kilometer west of the Yangtze River. The park surrounds a large lake, home to a spring that rises approximately two meters above the surface year-round. This spring, known as Tianjing, gives Tianjing Lake its name. To see the spring, one must take a paid boat trip to Zhongzhou Island.

The lake is eighty hectares wide, and two winding long causeways divide it into three lakes: East Lake, South Lake, and North Lake. The West Lake is missing, so the ancients jokingly said it was moved to Hangzhou.

In the center of Nanhu Lake, at the southern corner, lies Zhongzhou Island, home to the Tsutenkaku Tower, which houses the spring's " sky well . " To see the spring, one must take a paid boat trip from the shore to Zhongzhou Island. On the lake's east bank lies the Copper Culture Park, a large plaza with a view of the adjacent city hall building to the east.
