The Nagaoka Fireworks Festival, held in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture, is one of the three major fireworks festivals in Japan.

In 2025, the fireworks will be launched from 7:20 pm to 9:10 pm on the Shinano River riverbed for two days, August 2nd (Friday) and 3rd (Saturday) 🎇

This fireworks festival, which began as a memorial to the victims of the air raids and a prayer for reconstruction, is still passed down as an event that symbolizes "prayers for peace".

The "Phoenix Fireworks" in particular are a spectacular production that colors the night sky with music, deeply moving the hearts of those who watch them 🕊️

I visited on a solo trip, but I was moved to tears by the quietly launched white chrysanthemum fireworks and spent a time that cleansed my heart.
