Nagasaki 2 days and 1 night itinerary sharing, the most exotic port city

#ItinerarySharing #100 Ways to Travel

#長崎 Nagasaki is located on the west coast of Kyushu. People who travel to Kyushu rarely go to Nagasaki. Most people's impression of Nagasaki is about the atomic bomb explosion and Huis Ten Bosch, right? In fact, Nagasaki is a seaport full of exotic atmosphere, and its night view is no less beautiful than Hakodate, so it is well worth arranging a two-day and one-night trip.

✓ Transportation Tips:
It takes about 1.5 hours to take the tram from Fukuoka to JR Nagasaki Station. Nagasaki itself has a tram and bus network, so transportation is convenient.

✓ Must-see attractions:
#GloverGarden
I personally think this is the most worthwhile attraction in Nagasaki. This beautiful European-style garden is located on a hill. It was once the mansion of Thomas Glover, a wealthy British businessman. It is the oldest existing wooden Western-style building in Japan. It is quaint, graceful and elegant, and quite beautiful. The entrance ticket is ¥600, and you can visit the Nagasaki Traditional Performing Arts Center for free at the exit to see the traditional festival boat similar to the King's Boat.

#Inasayama #Nabekanyama Observatory
The two most beautiful observation decks in Nagasaki are located on the hills on the left and right sides of Nagasaki Port. They are the best places to overlook the night view of Nagasaki Port. Similar to Hakodate, which is also a port, the night view is not inferior to Hakodate's million-dollar night view.

#OuraChurch
The first Catholic church built after Japan ended its isolation, it is the only Western-style building among Japan’s national treasures. Its stained glass windows are magnificent and quite solemn and majestic. You need to buy a ticket to enter the museum, which costs ¥1,000, but you are not allowed to take photos inside.

✓Recommended restaurants:
#ANA Crowne Plaza Nagasaki
The three-star business hotel is located near Oura Church and has an excellent geographical location. It is basically within walking distance to Oura Church, Glover Garden, Holland Hills and other attractions. The hotel facilities and room types are quite satisfactory. What's good is that there are free parking spaces, which is very friendly to self-driving travelers. A double room costs about NT$3,000 per night.

✓ Must-eat food:
#葉山咖啡 Hayama Coffee
The coffee shop opens at 8 am. It is located next to Holland Hill and a 5-minute walk from the hotel. It is a good place to have breakfast and the dining environment is quite atmospheric. The fried mackerel sandwich and soup curry are quite famous, and it is a good choice to pair them with a cup of hot American coffee.

✓ Shopping Guide:
The Gevro Slope leading to Oura Cathedral and Glover Garden is lined with souvenir shops on both sides, including many pastry shops such as the famous Nagasaki Honey Cake Bunmeido, as well as art works such as painted handmade glass. All of them are concentrated on this street, so you can go shopping to your heart's content.
