As one of Nagasaki's most iconic tourist destinations,
I think it's a must-visit.

Glover Garden is a must-visit for both foreigners
and Japanese people from other regions alike when visiting Nagasaki.

Glover Garden was once a residential area for Westerners when the port opened,
and several buildings remain today.

It's surprisingly spacious and has more to see than you might expect,
so I recommend arriving early.

Situated on a hill, it offers a panoramic view of Nagasaki Harbor,
and it was fun to wander around and explore the buildings.

This place is also famous as the setting for one of Puccini's three major operas, "Madame Butterfly."

Perhaps that's why we even saw the Madame Butterfly statue.
