Turkish rice at Cafe de Toilette

Tucked away in an alley between Nagasaki's downtown area, Hamanmachi, and the streetcar line, you'll find Cafe de Toilette.

The unexpectedly large crowds of people who had gathered to enjoy the Blue Impulse flight performance at the Shinkansen opening event meant that restaurants were full.

Amidst all this, the alleyway cafe I found was like an oasis.

I saw the sign and went up to the second floor to enter.

The interior of the cafe is filled with a nostalgic atmosphere.
It's as if time has stopped in the Showa era.

The Turkish Rice I ordered was just as nostalgic as I imagined.

Lunch is reasonably priced.
I highly recommend Cafe de Toilette, a cafe that will make you feel like you've traveled back in time!
