Matsuura City boasts the highest horse mackerel catch in Japan
On April 27, 2019, Mayor Yoshiyasu Tomoda officially declared Matsuura City to be the "Holy Land of Fried Horse Mackerel".
There are a total of four "Matsuura Stone Monuments of Fried Horse Mackerel" in the city, which were created to establish Matsuura City as the "Holy Land of Fried Horse Mackerel".
This is one of them.

A restaurant on Takashima Island in Matsuura City, Nagasaki Prefecture.
Takashima Island is an island at the mouth of Imari Bay, and the entire island belongs to Matsuura City.

The vegetables used at this restaurant are either from Takashima Island or homemade, and the rice is also from Takashima Island.

The fish is freshly purchased every morning, and is filleted after receiving an order so that it can be served to customers in a fresh state.
The dressing is homemade kumquat dressing.
