"Kishimen" is one of Nagoya's local gourmet foods.
Speaking of kishimen...
I'm sure there are people who think, "I don't have much time before my train, but I want to eat," or "I'm not familiar with the area, so I want to eat somewhere nearby that's easy to find."
It would be a shame to miss out on enjoying the local specialties when you're in a place you've come all the way to.
In that case, why not try "Ekikama Kishimen," located in the concourse of JR Nagoya Station?
Even if you're not familiar with the area, you should be able to find the "Ekikama Kishimen" store in the middle by walking a little through the "Taiko-dori Exit" on the west side of the station and the "Sakura-dori Exit" on the east side.
At first, we had to queue, but the turnover of customers was fast and the food was served quickly.
We were given a menu while we were waiting in line and were able to order.
Shortly after we sat down, the food was served.
This time, we ordered the seasonal recommendation, "Chilled Kishimen with Plum and Shirasu."
It's getting hot, so I want something cold.
There are plenty of counter seats, but also table seats.
This is a Nagoya local dish that I would recommend to anyone in a hurry.
It's a restaurant that you can use safely even if you're alone, so please give it a try.
