[Main Hall] Osu Kannon with its beautiful vermilion color and large lanterns! Nagoya's tourist spot!

A Shingon Buddhist temple at the Kannon Sacred Site, affectionately known as Osu Kannon. It is said to be one of the three great Kannon in Japan, along with Asakusa Kannon and Tsu Kannon. The principal image is the Sho Kannon Bodhisattva. It is famous for its vermilion main hall and large lantern. The surrounding area, including the Osu Shopping Street, is a tourist spot in Nagoya.
