Regarded amoongst the best catsles in Japan. Nagoya castle is a beautiful reconstructed castle that gives a glimpse of the grandeur from the edo period. I paid 500 yen for the entrance. The current reinforced construction of the castle dates from 1959 and before it closed in May 2018, housed a modern museum with exhibits on the castle's history. It becomes a popular hanami spot during cherry blossom season, which usually peaks in late March or early April. The castle is an architectural master piece. One of the best experiences in Japan.
