In Japan, check-in is most common from 2 PM. I sometimes check in around midnight, but I also check in early depending on my schedule. I check in around 2:15 PM. The reception is very friendly.
I get a corner room on the 10th floor. Since there is only one window, it is a corner room. 🤣 But the view is wide. Since it is a reservation on the Accor official website, 2 bottles of mineral water are provided free of charge. Breakfast is also included.
It has a similar structure to the ibis in Yongsan. The bathroom is a small shower booth, but it is good for just showering. The sink is outside, and the toilet is separate. There is a large iron closet.
Overall, it is a modern design room. The lower the floor, the closer it is to the wall view or road view, so it is better to check in early and get a high floor. If you go to the ground, you have to cross more than 3 traffic lights, so it takes about 10 minutes to get to Nagoya Station.
If you go out about 150 meters to the left of the hotel, you will reach an underground passage where office workers use to walk. If you just follow the back view, you will be connected to Kintetsu, the bus terminal, Meitetsu, and JR, and the time will be shortened by 3-4 minutes.
In Japan, department stores and food halls are connected to train gates, so they pursue the shortest distance. The hotel is conveniently located for walking around Nagoya Station after finishing the first day's schedule. It is also a 7-minute walk from Fushimi Station.
Breakfast is simple, but the rice tastes good, and the miso soup and curry are also top-notch. The reception is on the 1st floor, so it is convenient to leave your luggage and pick it up after checking out the next day. It is a bit inconvenient to have a front desk on a high floor. Thank you.
