Introduction: Zhu Yuanzhang, the first emperor of the Ming Dynasty, began to build the Nanjing city wall in 1366. The Jubao Gate was rebuilt on the site of the South Gate of the Southern Tang capital. Legend has it that the cornucopia of Shen Wansan, a wealthy family in Jiangnan, was buried under the gate. It was renamed Zhonghua Gate in 1931. This gate is 118.5 meters wide from east to west and 128 meters long from north to south, covering an area of 15,168 square meters. There are three urn cities, connected by four arch gates, and the first city gate is 21.45 meters high. There is also a horse path for riding horses to climb the city. Each gate has a jack gate and double-leaf wooden doors that can be activated up and down. Now only the gate slots and door positions remain. There are 13 soldier caves above and below the urn city, and 14 soldier caves under the left and right horse paths, which can store military supplies and ambush soldiers in wartime. It is estimated that it can accommodate 3,000 people.
