[Nagoya] A leisurely, cost-effective journey on a local train is also great!

This time, I took a local train for a cost-effective and relaxed trip to Nagoya.

The Shinkansen is the main means of transportation from the city center to Nagoya, and it is quick and comfortable, but I also enjoyed a leisurely trip on a local train where you can enjoy the scenery from the window, so I would like to share how to get there.

If you leave Tokyo on the first train, you will arrive in Nagoya before noon, so you can enjoy Nagoya food for lunch.
If you have time, you can get off along the way and stop by tourist spots such as Odawara, Atami, and Hamamatsu, which is a good thing about local train travel. 😊

This time, I had my meal at the cafe in the Nagoya City Municipal Archives.
While retaining the appearance of a former courthouse, when you open the door, you will find a cafe with a gentle atmosphere and a mysterious atmosphere.
It was a wonderful cafe where you can enjoy not only coffee, but also a lineup of Nagoya-style meals such as toast and sandwiches.

The Nagoya City Municipal Archives and Nagoya Castle are within walking distance.
I was surprised to find Nagoya Castle was much larger than I had imagined, but that's no surprise, as it is said to be the second tallest castle tower in Japan and the third largest in terms of total area.
The inside was shining gold, and the decorations on the transoms were very elaborate.
I've visited many castles in Japan, but this is one I personally recommend visiting at least once - you won't regret it.
