#harbs is a very popular dessert shop in Japan, with branches in the Kanto, Tokai, and Kansai regions. Many people who visit Japan make a point to visit it. Its main shop is located in Sakae, Nagoya, and it's a staple on trips to the Chubu region. If you can't make the pilgrimage to the main shop and sit down for a meal, you should at least take some takeout from the nearest branch and savor it at your hotel.
There are three HARBS locations around Nagoya Station: the Takashimaya Tower Gate Mall (4F), the Takashimaya Takeout Shop (B1), and the Meitetsu Nagoya branch (MENS Building B1). This time, we visited the Meitetsu Nagoya branch.
Highly recommended:
Mille Crepe The soft, multi-layered crepe crust is topped with refreshing cream, each layer filled with fresh fruits of varying flavors, such as kiwi, banana, and cantaloupe. The textures are truly subtle, sometimes tasting the tart sweetness of kiwi, sometimes the tangy sweetness of banana, and sometimes the fresh sweetness of cantaloupe. The diverse flavors create a unique mouthfeel.
Address: Meitsu Department Store Main Building B1, 1-2-1 Meieki, Nakamura-ku, Nagoya
Hours: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
