HARBS is most famous for its cakes, but they are really expensive. A piece of fruit mille-feuille costs 1,100 yen, and the cheapest cake costs 880 yen. I saw on the website that HARBS’s lunch set menu from 11:00 to 15:00 is very cheap, so of course I had to try it.

Lunch set menus may not be available in every branch, and even if they are available, they may not be the same. Some only offer sandwiches, some only offer pasta, and only the main branch of Sakae offers omelette rice. We recommend that you check the website first to see which stores offer the meal.

This time we went to the Meitetsu Nagoya branch, which offers a pasta lunch set, which includes a salad, pasta, a piece of cake and a cup of coffee or tea. I ordered the white sauce chicken pasta, which was super delicious and a big portion. The cake is different every day, and you can choose from the styles specified by the store that day. The portion is half of the normal cake sold.

Although the cake was only half, the whole set meal was only 2000 yen, which is really cheap.
