Nagoya Castle, with its shining golden shachihoko, is a tourist spot representing Nagoya and is one of the three most famous castles in Japan. The castle tower built by Tokugawa Ieyasu was burned down during the war, but was rebuilt in 1959. It is the largest castle in Japan, with a total floor area of ββ2,409γ‘ and a height of 55.6m, making it an overwhelming castle.
