[Okinawa] Naha City Guesthouse Recommended for Beginners

Located about a 5-minute walk from the monorail prefectural office station in Naha city, Guest House Umikaji is a cheap and recommended place to stay if you just want to sleep overnight. At Guest House Umikaji, I stayed in a bunk bed dormitory on the 4th floor for women only. There are lockers in the room so you can safely store your valuables. The toilets, showers, washbasins, etc. are all shared, but they were well-cleaned and not uncomfortable. The shared space on the 2nd floor where you can eat and drink is also open, spacious and comfortable. There was also a manga corner. The shared refrigerator was also large and helpful. If I had to mention one drawback, it would be that the reception is on the 2nd floor and you have to take the stairs from the 2nd to the 5th floor. However, if you ask the staff, they will use a lift to lift and lower your heavy luggage. The location is good, right next to Kokusai Dori, so I was able to stay reasonably.
