Three Days and Two Nights: A Sunny Shopping Trip in Okinawa

Okinawa, the beautiful southernmost islands of Japan, is a dream vacation destination for many travelers with its azure waters, warm sunshine, and unique Ryukyu culture. This summer, I embarked on an unforgettable three-day leisurely trip to Okinawa.

First Stop: The Bustling Streets and Delicious Food of Kokusai Dori
After arriving at Naha Airport, my first destination was the lively Kokusai Dori. This bustling street is the heart of Okinawa, lined with various shops, restaurants, and specialty stores.

Second Stop: Shurijo Castle
The next day, I visited Okinawa's historical landmark—Shurijo Castle. Although the main hall suffered damage from a fire, restoration work is ongoing, and visitors can still explore certain areas. The castle's red walls and golden tiles showcase the former glory of the Ryukyu Kingdom. Walking along the ancient castle walls felt like traveling through time, immersing myself in Okinawa's unique historical atmosphere.

Third Stop: DFS Shopping
Of course, shopping at DFS was a must! Featuring a collection of major brands with discounts and promotions, it was a delightful and comfortable experience, especially during the hot summer days.

A three-day trip to Okinawa: relaxing and enjoyable.
