My First Day in Okinawa: Visiting Naminoue Shrine! 🏖️

On my first day in Okinawa, I decided to visit Naminoue Shrine because it was so close to the city center. It was a great choice! The shrine's unique location on a cliff overlooking the beautiful ocean made it the perfect spot to start my trip.

A City Walk to the Beach

I took a relaxing city walk from my hotel all the way to the shrine. It was so nice to stroll through the streets and feel the Okinawa vibe. When I arrived, the kids loved playing on the beach nearby, and I spent some time admiring the view.

I also made sure to walk across the bridge on the opposite side to get the perfect panoramic view of the shrine. The picture was great, but I did notice that the tide was low, so the water wasn't as vibrant as it could have been. If you're going for photos, it's a good idea to check the tides!

My visit to Naminoue Shrine was the perfect way to kick off my vacation.
