The image of beautiful, clear, blue water with a place to jump into the water is a familiar image that we often see on travel pages or friends who have visited Vang Vieng and posted about.
We had the opportunity to visit Vang Vieng, so we didn't miss the opportunity to visit Blue Lagoon once. It was like we had to check in a bit to see how beautiful it was. Because nowadays, tourists like to visit Blue Lagoon a lot, so Blue Lagoon 2, 3, 4, 5 were created in order. Locals recommend 2, 3 more because they are wider and not crowded.
But we came on a weekday and the route we were traveling was near Lagoon 1, so we chose to come here to see the original. The real thing is that the water is blue and very clear. There are a lot of fish swimming around. There aren't many people playing in the water. The pond is much smaller than we thought. There are pavilions and restaurants all around. If you come on a Saturday or Sunday, it will definitely be crowded. The water is clean and very cold. There are a lot of Vietnamese tourists. There is also a zipline to play.
Overall, we think Blue Lagoon 1 is still worth visiting. On weekdays, there aren't many people, there are many trees, it's shady, and it's close to Pha Nam Sai.
