Biei's Gardens vs. Asahidake's Wildflowers

The Biei region is often referred to as a paradise of flowers and trees. Famous spots like Mild Seven Hill, Christmas Tree, Ken and Mary's Tree, Shikisai-no-Oka, and Farm Tomita are enough to make anyone's heart flutter just by hearing their names. However, among these, I believe the highlight is the wildflowers of Asahidake. The last photos showcase the wildflowers of Asahidake. When I visited last April, there was nothing but snow, but this time, Asahidake has gifted us with an abundance of wildflowers.

Unlike the meticulously maintained gardens like Shikisai-no-Oka or Farm Tomita, Asahidake offers a different experience. Be sure to visit!

Address:

Atmosphere/Facilities: Endless fields of flowers wherever you look. If these are truly untouched wildflowers, the experience becomes even more moving.

Key Points: The well-maintained Shikisai-no-Oka and the wildflowers of Asahidake.

Average Price Per Person: Shikisai-no-Oka - 500 yen; Asahidake Ropeway - 3,500 yen (off-season price: 2,600 yen).

Rating: If you have the chance to see it, consider Asahidake as the default choice.
