Dragon God's Waterfall (Gifu Prefecture)

A majestic and mystical waterfall with a 12-meter drop, selected as one of Gifu Prefecture's Top 50 Famous Waters. According to legend, a white dragon residing in this waterfall suddenly appeared and ascended to the heavens.

The waterfall is about a 15-minute walk from the parking lot. Known for its impressive 12-meter drop, the water is exceptionally clear and is said to change colors up to seven times a day, ranging from cobalt blue to emerald blue. Near the Dragon God's Waterfall, there are five other waterfalls to explore.

Due to heavy rains on July 10, 2025 (Reiwa 7), part of the walking trail was washed away, and some sections are currently inaccessible. We hope for the swift progress of repair work.
