Naga Shrine, Nakhon Phanom Province

"Phaya Sri Satta Nakarat" depicts a seven-headed Naga, resting in a calm, three-tiered pose, symbolizing the peacefulness of Nakhon Phanom Province. Those who pray to him will have their wishes granted. The necklace adorning his neck represents the symbol of Nakhon Phanom Province, with Phra That Phanom serving as the spiritual center of worship for those who come to pay their respects. Every year, Nakhon Phanom Province holds a ceremony honoring Phaya Sri Satta Nakarat on the 7th day of the 7th lunar month at the Phaya Sri Satta Nakarat plaza.
