Xianjuding is the name of a mountain located in Lüwang Town, east of Dawu County, Hubei Province. It is one of Dawu's four famous mountains, with its main peak at 608.2 meters above sea level and a total area of approximately 165 square kilometers. Known as the "big wind outlet," Xianjuding's unique topography offers inexhaustible wind energy resources. Underground marble deposits hold 10 million cubic meters of mineral deposits. Xianjuding also boasts abundant tourism and natural resources.
Immortal Cave
The west side of Zoumagang is a natural stone cliff, convex at the top and concave at the bottom. People on the hill dare not look down from the edge, and when they look up from the bottom, they can only see the cliff, not the sun. There is a cave on the cliff, the size of which is inestimable. According to legend, a Taoist who became an immortal once lived in this cave, so the locals call it "Xianren Cave."
Black Dragon Pond
At the foot of Shandong Mountain, in Jiangjiahegou, there's a stone pool formed by a waterfall. The water flows down from a large black rock over ten feet wide. The cascading water creates a buzzing sound like a dragon's roar, hence the name "Black Dragon Pool." This pool boasts a unique spectacle: two pores in the black rock, from which water gushes forth, forming a natural fountain resembling the gushing of a dragon's nose. Legend has it that the pores connect to the sea, and that the wood used to build the Phoenix Rock Temple was sourced from the pores by an accomplished monk.
Phoenix Stone
Atop the peak stands a huge rock, over 8 meters in diameter, ridge-shaped in the middle and flat and symmetrical on both sides. Its shape resembles a phoenix about to take flight, head raised and beak extended, shielding the houses below from wind and rain. On a clear summer day, if you climb to the top of the rock and look south, you can see the white shimmer of the Yangtze River.
