Yosemite National Park Review

#SeptemberTravelGrant

I visited Yosemite again in late September. The warm sunlight during the day and the cool air at night made it crucial to prepare for the trip with proper sleep. I especially remember how clear and starry the night air was when I stayed in Yosemite Valleyโ€”I even caught a glimpse of the Milky Way, which you can't see from the city. The sound of the wind rustling through the trees and the water flowing together created a truly peaceful atmosphere.

One of my favorite trails in Yosemite was the Tuolumne Meadows trail. With some wildflowers still in bloom, the alpine air was different, and the visibility was exceptionally wide, I saw many scenes where the mountains, fields, and sky harmoniously intertwine. However, some roads to access the area may still be closed, so check the park website or visitor center in advance. You'll also need a GPS or map app.

You can use the grant for things like car rentals, tolls (entry fees to gateway areas), and hiking equipment rentals. Especially if you travel in a group, you can split the cost of transportation, and choosing accommodations with better amenities will significantly improve the quality of your trip. Personally, I booked a mid-range hotel due to the financial burden, but if I had the financial support, I would have upgraded to a place with better air conditioning and hot water. This way, you can rest more comfortably at night and enjoy the trail with energy to spare in the morning.
