Ancient Thai Technology Museum

The Ancient Thai Technology Museum was established to preserve arts and culture. This museum is located in Suranaree University of Technology. Inside, there are exhibits on ancient tools and equipment, such as the principles of lifting airplane wings, rockets, mechanisms for changing rocking into rotation, ancient rice mills, fishbone gears, sugarcane presses, ignition in cylinders, memory aids, mechanic tools, and metalworking. The exhibition is divided into each floor: Floor 1 exhibits weaving equipment, animal traps, fish catching equipment, water tanks, drums, coconut graters, etc. There are also a number of small tools that are considered rare items displayed in glass cases, such as small planes, chisels, and various types of drills from ancient times. Floor 2 exhibits the construction of rice mills, adapted from the original but using modern materials.
