Pay homage to Ya Mo of Korat

🍁The monument of Thao Suranaree or Ya Mo was built to commemorate the heroic deeds of Ya Mo. It was built in 1934.
🍁History Ya Mo is a heroine who saved Nakhon Ratchasima when the King of Vientiane (Chao Anuwong) led an army to attack Bangkok. But stopped along the way to attack Nakhon Ratchasima first. He gathered his troops to fight with Chao Anuwong until he was finally victorious.
🍁On the side of the monument, there are stalls selling flowers, garlands and oil for worship.
🍁Location 💟 Located in the city center, between Ratchadamnoen Road and Chumphon Road, Mueang District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province.
