Villa Park: A Memorable Experience

We recently spent seven nights at Villa Park. It was our second trip to the Maldives, but our first time staying at this resort. We had a fantastic beach villa with a private pool, conveniently located near the main restaurant (173). The upgrade was well worth it, especially with our young child, as it allowed us to enjoy swimming any time without heading to the main pool. The pool felt like a warm bath—simply beautiful. The staff were all friendly and helpful, but our waiter Shishir in the main restaurant stood out by a mile. His attentiveness and kindness made every meal delightful. All the restaurant staff were amazing, with a notable mention to Rauf, who took the time every day to greet our little one. We'll miss those friendly hellos. Our son turned one during our stay, and the affection and care he received from the staff in the restaurant, coffee shop, and Thai restaurant were heartwarming. We dined once at the Thai restaurant and had the most delectable curry ever. We're fans of Thai food, and the prawn tempura and red curry were outstanding. The staff, including Selva and Chandra, made our experience even better, entertaining our son while we enjoyed our dessert. This resort is beautiful, with countless behind-the-scenes staff working diligently on tasks that often go unnoticed, like vehicle maintenance, sewing, laundry, chopping coconuts, and furniture upkeep. I'd love to say we’ll return, but the three flights and speedboat journey might be a bit much for us. Nonetheless, the memories we've made are unforgettable.
