Truly worthy of being the Little Jiuzhaigou of Southern Shaanxi❗️
All of autumn’s beauty is here, with seventy percent of it in Liping❗️
🍁The forests are dyed in layers of green, red, and yellow, with emerald pools and waterfalls.
It’s so stunning it leaves you speechless, fulfilling all my autumn fantasies.
This is Liping National Forest Park, just one mountain away from Heguangwushan.

🚄Transportation: High-speed train from Xi’an North to Hanzhong in 1 hour,
then 🚗 2 hours to the scenic area (car rental or private car available)
🍁Best time to see the colorful autumn leaves is from late October to late November
⏰Recommended visit time: 4-5 hours

Day 1️⃣
Arrive in Hanzhong by high-speed train at noon, of course try the fish hotpot. Recommended restaurants: Yuchang Wooden Barrel Fish and Sanwei Yufu, both great after several visits! Stay overnight at Liping Holiday Hotel.
Day 2️⃣
Head straight to the scenic area in the morning.
The route is generally gentle, suitable for older children and elderly.

Lutiao Gorge ➡ Maple Forest Waterfall ➡ Haidi Stone City ➡ Zhonghua Dragon Mountain ➡ Hongchen Gorge
🔥Must-visit spots:
⭐Haidi Maple Forest Waterfall (my favorite spot, with emerald pools and colorful forests complementing each other)
⭐Hongchen Gorge (there’s a special red leaf photo spot here, plus colorful forests, emerald lakes, and waterfalls)
⭐Zhonghua Dragon Mountain (a place to pray and see strange rocks and cliffs resembling dragon scales)
⭐Haidi Stone City (400 million-year-old underwater stone formations, marvel at nature’s wonders)

❤Tips:
1. It’s chilly in the mountains, dress warmly with a good windbreaker!
2. Mountain roads are winding, drive safely 🚗
3. Bring some simple snacks and drinks; there are shops in the scenic area
4. Some leaves have just turned red and yellow; this weekend marks the peak viewing period for autumn leaves
