
Taohua Island is located in the middle of the Ganjiang River, south of Jishui County, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province. It's 15 kilometers from Ji'an City, and National Highway 105 provides direct access to the Taohua Island ferry. With its beautiful scenery and rich history, Taohua Island has long been a popular destination for renowned scholars and luminaries. Hu Guang, the top scholar in the early Ming Dynasty, studied diligently on the island. Famous figures throughout history, such as Liu Yan, Zhou Bida, Yang Wanli, Yang Shiqi, Jin Youzi, Zeng Tongheng, and Zou Yuanbiao, have all left poems on Taohua Island.
This island, rich in culture and history, is worthy of the name "Island of Wisdom." It is also home to thousands of acres of peach trees. With its tranquil environment and fresh air, it is a great place for couples to fall in love, earning it the nickname "Island of Love."
Taohua Island, nestled in the heart of the Ganjiang River south of Jishui County, boasts a unique geographical setting within the waters of the Ganjiang River. Standing on Taohua Island, one gazes out upon the clear waters of the river flowing by, a truly breathtaking scene.
The island boasts a subtropical humid monsoon climate and rich native vegetation. Peach trees are planted throughout the island, and the blossoms are ablaze in spring. While suitable for travel in all seasons, spring is the best time to visit.
Jishui Peach Blossom Island has scenic spots such as the Thousand-acre Peach Garden, Qianhe Study, Zhenjun Temple, Zhongyi Pavilion and Xibi Pool.
