Nanjing

I took a weekend trip to Nanjing and visited the different sites around the Zhongshan Mountain National Park (temples, pagodas, Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, Ming Tombs to name a few) and the Confucius Temple. Unfortunately, the weather was terrible - rain turned to hail turned to snow, but Nanjing has so many sites and so much history, I would recommend a visit when the weather is warm and sunny. It is very accessible via the high-speed rail and there are plenty of affordable hotels and restaurants around. Well worth a weekend trip!#chinatravel
