Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, the tomb of Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang

Address: Dulongfu, south of Zijin Mountain, Xuanwu District, Nanjing, at the foot of Mount Everest

Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum is the joint burial site of Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty, and his empress Ma. Because the empress was posthumously named "Xiaoci", the mausoleum was named Xiaoling. The Xiaoling Mausoleum of Ming, the first of China's Ming tombs, is magnificent and represents the highest achievement of early Ming architecture and stone carving art. It influenced the structure of imperial tombs for more than 500 years during the Ming and Qing dynasties.

November to February 6:30-18:00.
