Catch the last of Nanjing’s autumn and check in at Jiming Temple! The ginkgo trees here have turned yellow, and the red walls of the ancient temple instantly become a trendy photo spot. Every shot looks like a masterpiece📷
📍Address: No. 1 Jiming Temple Road, Xuanwu District, Nanjing
⏰Opening Hours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (morning visits are recommended for better lighting)
1⃣️Yellow Wall at the Entrance: You won’t be able to resist taking photos before even entering! The yellow leaves + red walls are incredibly photogenic, and any pose works perfectly.
2⃣️Mahavira Hall: The stone steps on both sides have a great atmosphere; photographers line up here waiting for their shot.
3⃣️Coffee Shop Terrace: The same popular spot as in the movie "Infernal Affairs," overlooking the entire temple and the distant Zifeng Tower, a must-visit photo point.
4⃣️Medicine Buddha Pagoda: Autumn-exclusive ginkgo avenue, covered in golden leaves, super romantic (best time to shoot is mid to late November).
⚠️Tips:
- The vibe differs between sunny and cloudy days; it’s best to come early when there are fewer people.
- Simple style clothing is recommended, or traditional Hanfu works great too.
- The ginkgo trees are most beautiful in November, so now is the perfect time to see them.
- You can buy a pack of pigeon feed for 10 yuan at the entrance to feed the pigeons at Xuanwu Lake.
Don’t miss Nanjing’s most beautiful autumn scenery. Now is the perfect time to catch the last wave of ginkgo leaves! Remember to bring your 256GB memory card—you’ll never have enough photos~
