Nanjing Autumn Hidden Gems Check-in Guide 🍂 Stroll through the ancient city and encounter the most beautiful Jinling
This autumn, I found an absolutely stunning photo spot in Nanjing — Chaotian Palace! The combination of red walls and yellow leaves is so atmospheric, instantly transporting you back to the prosperous ancient capital✨
📍 Nanjing Museum (Chaotian Palace)
Address: No. 4 Chaotian Palace, Wangfu Street, Qinhuai District
Opening Hours: Tuesday to Sunday 9:00-18:00 (last entry at 16:30), closed on Monday
Ticket Price: 23 RMB
🌟 Must-visit spots
1️⃣ Ginkgo Avenue in front of Lingxing Gate
Best viewed in mid to late November when the ginkgo leaves turn fully yellow! Sunlight filtering through the leaves onto the stone path makes every shot a masterpiece📸 Wearing Hanfu for photos adds even more charm
2️⃣ Square in front of Minglun Hall
A quiet corner with few people, where ancient architecture and red leaves complement each other perfectly, ideal for portrait photography. The sunlight is softest around 3 to 4 PM~
3️⃣ Steps in front of Chongsheng Hall
A super photogenic spot! Stand on the steps to shoot silhouettes or take upward shots of the entire building. Remember to wait for fewer people for the best effect
🌿 Tips for your visit:
• Wearing light-colored or red clothing will make your photos stand out more
• Best shooting times are before 10 AM and after 3 PM on sunny days
• Closed on Mondays, so don’t go on that day by mistake
• You can also visit the nearby Qijiawan Food Street, the beef potstickers are delicious!
In autumn in Nanjing, you must come to experience the city’s unique charm and beauty~ The ancient buildings bathed in sunlight are truly healing✨
