Today, I visited a highly recommended spot: Gyokusendo Cave. As the second largest stalactite cave in Japan, this cave, which is thousands of years old, is very well preserved. The bizarre shapes of the stalactites are truly eye-opening. The cave is very deep, and as you move along the stairs down to the bottom, you will see many densely packed stalactites of various shapes, which are simply breathtaking. Along the stairs, you can hear the sound of dripping water. Some stalactite columns are so long that they pose a danger, so the staff shorten them. The water dripping from the stalactites forms pools, and there are many fish swimming in the water, which is very interesting.
