Must-See Recommendations

1. Teddy 108 Homestay and Cafe - Grand World Phu Quoc Island
📍Address: Grand World, Bai Dai, Ap Ganh Dau, SA-05-41/VH-108
This homestay is located near Phu Quoc Island's popular Grand World attraction. Whether you're a backpacker or a family trip, you'll experience the warm hospitality of the hosts, who will proactively assist with ticket bookings and itinerary arrangements. Best of all, some rooms have balconies overlooking the canal, allowing you to wake up to a soothing waterfront view every day. Most guests praised the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel. Rooms generally come with complimentary drinking water, and Grand World, the Teddy Bear Museum, and Vin Pearl Safari are all within walking distance. If you're on a budget, this is excellent value. However, many people recommend paying close attention to room cleaning and maintenance. If you're going out during dinner, nearby restaurants may have limited hours, so it's recommended to check dinner times in advance.

2. Phu Quoc Night Market
📍Address: 54 Đường Nguyễn Trãi, Khu 1, Phú Quốc, Kiên Giang, Vietnam
🕒Opening Hours: 5:00 PM - 12:00 AM, year-round
Think Vietnamese night markets are boring? You've completely missed the point! This is the island's most popular late-night snack and souvenir destination, with a variety of grilled seafood, stir-fries, mango sticky rice, specialty juices, and souvenir shops lined up. Remember to arrive around 7:00 PM for peak activity, with occasional street performers. We recommend taking it slow and ordering directly with your fingers, or asking the restaurant for recommendations—the crab roe, grilled scallops, and candied coconut are all must-try dishes! One thing to note: Crowds peak between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM, so if you don't want to squeeze in, go earlier.

3. Great World Phu Quoc Island & Surroundings
The Great World complex features numerous water canals and European-style buildings, creating a dreamy spectacle at night. For those who love photogenic photos, stroll all the way to the Teddy Bear Museum and relax at the café. Vin Pearl Safari is also nearby, so families should enjoy a quick morning outing and return to their homestay in the evening.

Practical Tips:
- Phu Quoc Island is ideal for a four- or five-day, in-depth tour. Transportation between attractions is primarily by taxi or minibus, so plan your itinerary early to avoid peak times.
- Bring some snacks when checking into your homestay, as some nearby restaurants have limited hours and can be difficult to find late at night.
- Mosquito repellent is essential at the night market, and remember to bring a sun hat; the sun can be quite strong at noon!

Food Recommendations:
- Must-try the grilled scallops and crab noodles at Phu Quoc Night Market Seafood BBQ.
- We highly recommend the homemade desserts and Vietnamese iced coffee at Teddy 108 Café in Grand World.

Transportation Tips:
- The airport is about a 40-60 minute drive from Grand World and Teddy 108 Bed and Breakfast. It's recommended to reserve a ride in advance.
- Grab is available for most tourist attractions on the island. Be sure to ask the driver for the return price when you take a taxi back to your hotel.

Five days and four nights really aren't enough to explore Phu Quoc Island. Next time, you'll want to add in a safari and more hidden gems! Do you have any hidden gems in Phu Quoc? Share your picks in the comments!
