My First Home in China

Nantong was actually the first city I lived in after relocating in China, and it was a wonderful experience. While a much smaller city compared to Shanghai, there are still a number of key attractions that you can visit if you happen to be in the area.

The Lang Mountain Scenic Area (or Wolf Mountain) is one of those key attractions. You'll only need about 2 hours to get through the entire complex at a leisurely pace, and it is quite a beautiful location. When you get to the top of the mountain (which is actually more of a hill), you'll be treated to a wonderful panoramic view of the city.

The Haohe Scenic Area is also a must visit, in the old downtown area of the city. While walking through the different streets will ensure you get a great overview of all the hustle and bustle, if you take the time to hop on one of the river boats, you'll also see some pretty awesome views of the city - whether you choose to go during the day or at night!
