It's so hot! The summer weather has been incredibly hot lately, and I just want to escape the heat in the mountains. This mushroom farm in the mountains of Nantou is so large that it supplies mushrooms to major supermarkets like TP-Mart and Liren. There's a free mushroom picking area, with a variety of mushrooms on display, just waiting for the kids to grab their bamboo baskets and pick fresh mushrooms to take home!

I took the kids this time. The free mushroom picking area included free picking tools and a guided tour. The mushrooms you picked were sold by the pound (1 pound = 100 yuan), which was a great deal!

There are also many DIY mushroom activities available, and there's even a #TaiwanOnlySawdustMountain and #ChickenWormExperience right at the entrance. I recommend allowing 2-3 hours for the kids to enjoy the fun!
