Before venturing up the mountain road to Cingjing Farm, I made a brief stop at Puli Yuan Shou Museum and discovered this delightful rest stop full of whimsy. The building, which combines the charm of a European castle with historical humor, is not only magnificent in appearance but also features a creatively designed parking lot. Lifelike statues of figures such as Wang Chien-ming, Tai Tzu-ying, and Lionel Messi seem to welcome every traveler. Outdoor chessboards, indoor adorable bear figurines, and local souvenirs blend playfulness with culture, making it hard to leave. It was a surprising turn, a moment that brightened the journey; what was meant to be a mere stopover became a memorable highlight.
