Nestled in Nantou's Puli, beyond the lush mountains and rich cultural heritage, there’s a familiar aroma wafting through the mountain breeze—it's the scent of fermentation from Puli Winery, carrying the memories of time and local traditions.

Founded in 1916, Puli Winery boasts over a century of history and is one of Taiwan's few remaining operational old distilleries. Using the pristine spring water of Puli as its foundation, the winery produces a variety of popular rice wines, Shaoxing wines, and specialty fruit wines. Among its offerings, the most iconic are the aromatic and full-bodied Yuquan sake and Shaoxing wine, which have long been staples on Taiwanese dining tables.
