Jinniu Zhuang Restaurant (金牛莊餐廳), Taiwan

I had the opportunity to try Jinniu Zhuang Restaurant (金牛莊餐廳) in Taiwan. It's famous for its Taiwanese-style Chinese cuisine and set menus for tour groups, but it also caters to the general public. The restaurant's spacious, clean, and bright atmosphere makes it ideal for dining with family or friends.

I tried a variety of dishes, allowing me to experience different flavors. For example:

Pork Bone Soup: The soup was rich but bland, and easy to sip.

President Fish (Steamed Fish in Soy Sauce): The fish was very fresh and had no fishy smell. The steaming or soy sauce cooking method brought out the flavor of the fish. The sauce was delicious and complemented the fish perfectly. However, there were a lot of bones.

Boiled Chicken: It was similar to chicken soaked in wine. The chicken meat was tender and the skin was thin, but it reminded me of Thai-style boiled chicken served with seafood sauce.

Stir-fried Vegetables with Pork: The stir-fried vegetables were perfectly crispy, not too dry, and not too greasy. It was a great dish to cut through the richness.

Chinese-Style Shrimp Macaroni: A unique dish. Macaroni stir-fried in Chinese-style sauce and topped with large shrimps gives it a unique, bland flavor.

Stir-fried Chinese Chili Paste: This dish is perfect for those who love spicy food. The spiciness comes from the Chinese chili peppers and the aroma of the stir-frying over high heat.

The German Pork Knuckle is the restaurant's signature dish. The pork knuckle has crispy skin and tender, juicy meat. It's perfect for sharing with several people.

The rice vermicelli is stir-fried to the perfect dryness, not clumpy. The noodles are soft and chewy. I personally think it's a simple dish.
