The panoramic view of Nanyang Prefecture Yamen

The Nanyang Prefecture Yamen is very large, comparable to modern office complexes, and even more magnificent and spectacular than what is depicted in movies and TV dramas. The entire architecture is of the Qing Dynasty style, with a very complete functional area distribution. There are several courtyards with multiple entrances and exits, which are exceptionally well-preserved. It takes at least an hour to tour the whole area. Inside the yamen, there is also a dungeon, which was probably an ancient detention center. Outside the yamen, there is a food street lined with various snacks. For those who appreciate historical relics, it is definitely worth a visit!
