There are many government buildings now. In the first half of the year, I visited the Huai'an Prefecture Office and the Baoding Zhili Governor's Office. Let me briefly introduce this time's attraction, the Nanyang Prefecture Office.
The scenic area was the official office of the Nanyang prefect during the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, with a history of more than 700 years. Most of the existing buildings are from the Qing Dynasty (rebuilt during the Guangxu period). The local government carried out repairs and maintenance in 2001, and it is now a national cultural relic protection unit.
The overall structure of Nanyang Prefecture Office is relatively well preserved, with the main building on the central axis. The functional parts of the office are relatively straightforward to see. There are many couplets hanging in the scenic area that are worth seeing, as well as a "Fu Shou" stele left by Cixi.
It is the start of the school year recently, so there are still quite a lot of tourists. It is recommended to find a guide or listen to one for free. If you are interested in government buildings, you can come and take a look. The tour time is about 1-2 hours.
Ticket price for the scenic spot: 40 yuan. It is located in the urban area and has convenient transportation.
